Context
HTM is the main public transport provider in The Hague region. They needed VR training for a technically heavy maintenance procedure: accurate, efficient, and approachable for a broad group of people.
I was involved from the very start, during the sales process, and stayed on through design, development, testing and deployment.
The challenge
The procedure is complex and traditionally hard to learn without hands-on guidance. The training had to break it into clear steps while staying technically correct, and work for people with no prior knowledge without oversimplifying the process.

Designing the learning flow
Together with the sales team I shaped the initial concept and turned the procedure into a structured learning experience. Once the project moved into production, I became responsible for planning and executing the full training.
I broke the procedure into logical steps, each supported by intuitive interactions and clear cues. Every action had to feel natural in VR, and every instruction had to move the user forward without friction.

Leading the project
Alongside the design work, I led the project from planning to delivery: aligning the team, setting priorities and making sure each milestone landed on time. I discussed progress with HTM at every stage and turned their feedback into concrete improvements, which built a strong working relationship.
Outcome
A long, complex technical procedure became a clear, interactive and enjoyable training that anyone can follow, regardless of experience. HTM was very satisfied with both the clarity of the training and how the project was run. With the training, they brought training time down from 2 hours to 20 minutes.
